Hello Kitty

Chezzie and Jamie bought a T-shirt for me. The picture on the T-shirt is Hello Kitty. They know that I like Kitty very much. I have liked her since I was 10 years old. Some people had asked me why I liked her so much. I didn’t know the reason; I just like her. Some people might think there was no mouth on her face was ugly. However, the reason why she didn’t have a mouth was that the designer did it on purpose. When I was happy, I looked Kitty, I would think she was happy, too. When I was sad, she was sad, too. I think that is a special design and I will like Hello Kitty until I’m dead.

Today I went out with my Mom to the department store. FE21’ was having anniversary sale. My mother wanted to buy something and she hadn’t gone shopping for many months. We met each other in Kaohsiung, and then we took the bus to the department store. There were few people there because today was not holiday. After buying some clothes, we went to have our lunch. Saturday was my father’s birthday so we also bought a shirt and a coat for him. I hope he will like the presents. We had planned to go to the other two department stores originally after going this one. However, we already spent too much money here, and it was getting darker outside. We had a good time today. And the point was that my mother did buy something she wanted.

Happy New Year 2008

December 31, was a happy day, not only got the commendation of my blog but went out with my friends to have the last day of 2007. My friends picked me up at 2:00, and then we drove to the Lushun. There were lots of cars went to Lushun or Chinjing. After a long drive, we went to our hotel to check in first, and then we walked around Lushun to have our dinner. About 10:30, we started to go Chinjing Farm to attend count down party. It was also a long drive. The traffic was jammed during that time because lots of people wanted to go there, too. We got there about 11:50. It was very exciting, but it was very cold there. Although I had worn many clothes, I still kept shaking all the night. This was my first time to attend count down party with friends, or I usually sit in front of the TV to spend my last day of a year. Although I didn’t see the fireworks with Chezzie and Jamie, I thought this trip was already good enough.

red wine

My father’s friend gave us a bottle of red wine. We decided to drink it during dinner. I’ve heard that red wine has many benefits. Drinking a glass of red wine each evening is good for health. It contains some materials can reduce heart disease risk, benefit the skin and blood vessels. I think it’s quite weird. Isn’t drinking alcohol bad for the body? But, why drinking red wine is good for the body? I believe that the research did by the scientists and doctors was true, but I think if I drink the red wine regularly without doing any exercise, I won’t be healthy at all. Eating or drinking something good and doing exercise at the same time is the best way to maintain healthy.

Christmas Eve

Today was the Christmas Eve; I did not have any plan. I didn’t have a big meal or go out with my friends. I was writing the Christmas cards to my friends. Last week I didn’t have so much free time to do it. Anyway, we decided to exchange the cards tomorrow at the Starbucks. Today I also received some Christmas cards from my senior high school classmates. I appreciated that they still remembered to send cards to me. I think Christmas is not so popular in Taiwan, especially for the previous generation. It is west country’s holiday at all.

reading is good

Making it as a custom to do some reading is good, my teacher said. He also said, no matter what kinds of books you read such as novels, magazines, newspapers or even comic books, all are good to increase knowledge. For me, I will buy the title of book which I interest or buy the books written by the author I like. But now, I seldom to read books except the news from the Internet. There are still some books I didn’t read which I bought before. I should find some times to finish them or I would waste my money.

shampoo

I have changed a lot of brands of shampoo but I haven’t found the one which suits me the most. When there was a new product was on sale, I would but it for a try. Maybe it smelled good, had an attracting looks, or had a very special use. I would have a little dandruff in the winter which it was very cold and dry. So I would choose anti-dandruff shampoo in the freezing winter. However, now it wasn’t very cold, so I didn’t have this problem yet. Some people said changing the shampoo frequently was better for hair. I didn’t know whether it was true or not. Anyway, I would keep looking what shampoo suits me the most.
